Extend your cruise

Land Journeys Before and After Your Cruise.

I specialize in small-ship and river cruises, and I plan the time on land before and after your sailing. I bring accommodations, transportation, and experiences together so your cruise and land journey feel like one considered trip.

How can time on land extend your cruise?

Time on land before or after a cruise gives you room to explore beyond the sailing itself. I coordinate accommodations, transportation, and experiences with your embarkation or disembarkation plans. Your interests, preferred pace, and available time guide the extension, so the land journey supports the cruise rather than competing with it.

Is a guided journey right for you?

A guided journey can open doors while removing the burden of daily logistics. It suits travelers who appreciate expert context, dependable arrangements, and shared experiences. I work with partners such as Tauck and help you decide whether a guided format, independent plan, or thoughtful combination fits best.

Does Grace plan land journeys without a cruise?

Yes, on request. My specialties are small-ship and river cruises, with land journeys mainly planned before and after a sailing. If you would like a standalone land journey, share your timing, interests, and preferred pace in the planning form. The $6,000 per-person trip minimum applies.

How can a journey be shaped around your people?

I plan for solo travelers, couples, girlfriends, multigenerational families, and groups. For friends, classmates, alumni, and families traveling as eight or more, I can shape a group journey around shared interests while respecting different energy levels. The $6,000 per-person trip minimum applies to group travel.

What does Grace bring to the planning?

More than four years of advising and travel through 32 countries have taught me to look beyond a list of sights. I listen for the pace, comfort, and moments you value, then build the practical pieces around them. The result should feel considered, personal, and easy to inhabit.

Before our AmaWaterways Rhine cruise, we added the line’s pre-cruise land package: two nights in Zurich and two in Lucerne. When we arrived at our hotel in Zurich, the cruise manager was there to greet us, and we started meeting fellow guests right away. From Lucerne, we spent a day on Mount Rigi, high above a sea of clouds. I love that ease of arriving and being completely taken care of. It’s one of the reasons I suggest adding a few days on land before a cruise.

What do clients say?
